Cathodic Protection

One means of controlling corrosion is by the use of cathodic protection, which has proved its reliability as a protection methodology in numerous application and designs, even when applied to existing structures. A protective current, derived from sacrificial anodes or impressed-current systems, reliably protects assets even where holidays in coatings may exist, preventing localized corrosion and pitting.

Extrin Consultants personnel have been involved in numerous design and installation of Cathodic Protection system projects in Australia and overseas.
