Ron Semones has more than 30 years experience working with corrosion of steel and concrete in both the United States and Australia, experience particularly in corrosion in concrete, QA/QC methodology, and management of asset refurbishment. Over the years he has been very active in preparing product Specifications and Methodologies for individual client’s repairs.

In Australia, over the past 20 years, he has been highly active in the Goldfields region of Western Australia and was involved in the Project Management of the first installation of Carbon Fibre at (then) Western Mining’s Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter.

Ron is a member of the Australasian Corrosion Association, and the Concrete Institute of Australia. He is also a past Committee member of the Concrete Institute of Australia.
